According to a survey of vehicle owners of India it has been concluded that 87% of these owners are willing to convert to Electric Vehicles. The only impediments to actually doing this are getting affordable cars and range anxiety. Both these issues are expected to be addressed very shortly. Affordable cars in the price range of Rs. 10 to Rs. 15 lakhs are expected to be launched soon from Maruti Suzuki, Tata and Mahindra. Range anxiety issue is also on the wane with numerous DC Electric Vehicle Fast Charging stations coming us across various cities and highways.
