Currently a battery of an Electric Vehicle constitutes FORTY percent of the total cost. According to a leading statistics website Statista by the year 2030 this will fall to about NINETEEN percent of the total cost, making Electric Vehicles much more economical. The main reason for this deduction is based on the past trends. Since 2010 the battery cost has fallen from EIGHTY percent of total cost to FORTY percent today. The same trend is likely to continue. Additionally, technical advancements in energy density and Fast Electric Vehicle charging stations are likely to make Electric Vehicles the main mean of transportation.
