Morris Garage (MG Motors) has launched its all electric SUV model “MG ZS Electric”. The vehicle will hit the roads in January 2020. The vehicle is going to be powered by a 44.5 kWH Li-Ion Battery and with the help of a 50 kW DC Electric Vehicle fast charging station the vehicle will obtain an 80 % charge within 40 minutes. Separately in an interview the MG officials stated that with more Electric Vehicles hitting the market the onus will now fall upon the government to ensure a robust Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure.
