On 02nd April 2019 Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) a Tata Motors company, announced that by the end of 2019 it will introduce its HYBRID range of vehicles in India. It also announced that by the middle of 2020 it will bring in its pure electric vehicle I- Pace to India. This is exciting news indeed for electric vehicles space in India. The I – Pace holds a 90 kWh Lithium Ion Battery and has a range of 377 Kms on a single charge. On a normal AC Charger of 7 kW the vehicle reaches full charge in about 12.9 hours. One hopes that by the time it is brought to India it will have the option of charging on a DC Fast Charging Station.
