On 11th December DDA approved a modification in the Unified Building By-Laws for Delhi by mandating that 20% of the parking space has to be reserved for Electric Vehicles. Additionally, it has been mandated, all new buildings are to compulsorily have Electric Vehicle charging stations installed in the parking area.
