Under the FAME II (Faster Adoption of Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles Version II) program the government has planned to provide 2, 700 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations both for Fast Charging and regular slow charging. DC Fast Charging Stations are envisaged to be available in every 3 km * 3 km Grid of the targeted cities.
