TATA Motors plans to become a major player in the Electric Vehicle market segment. In the coming 18 months five of their vehicles will see Electric versions on the roads. These include Electric Tigor, Electric Nexon and Electric Altroz. Tata motors is also taking steps to ensure that electric vehicle charging stations are available everywhere by having a tie up with Tata Power to build the electric vehicle charging infrastructure wherever Tata Power is present.
