The Union territory of Chandigarh has joined the growing list of Indian states that have decided to push for Electric Vehicles on its roads. Chandigarh has drafted an EV policy with the target of registering only Electric Vehicles by the year 2030. Charging infrastructure is very much part of the policy with adequate incentives for DC Electric Vehicle Fast Charging stations and AC Electric Vehicle chargers.
